Calcium - does the body good!










So why is calcium so important? Calcium helps support bone health, helps maintain healthy immune functions and optimal cholesterol levels, promotes normal regulation of hormones and enzyme production, and supports healthy body weight – just to name a few! 




However just drinking lots of milk or eating a lot of dairy isn't necessarily going to do it for your body. Why? Well one thing is the pasteurization blocks or minimizes the absorption of calcium. So most will need to supplement.
